@leeatmg, I see his signature fine.

Here is my contribution

I like the pink one. If I were to ever have a real gun it would be pink. Because I don't have any real guns. At all, no where. So don't bother looking. And that safe is for important papers, not guns. They are big papers...all rolled up. Like blueprints, yeah, blueprints!

In fact, my neighbor put this sign in his yard:

Not all my toys but just some cool pics of the girls getting into it. They were shooting 50 yds and compensating about 2 inches for a messed up scope. So their groupings were actually pretty good considering.

yes you can, now back to the guns. Lol, just kidding

I only display firearms to potential suitors of my daughters.

I don't have a lot of concerns about my daughters suitors...I don't think they'll keep up with her too well.

@justason what kind of ammo did she use on the deer? Emma may want to hunt this year and I am uncertain what kind of 5.56 or 223 round to use.

Thanks

She dropped that deer with a 62 grain lead tip .223 from about 30 yards.

I DO NOT like hunting with the .223: there are a lot of articles on using it as a deer rifle that play both angles.....She hunts along side me so anything further out is my shot.

I'm selling a beautiful 1903a3 this afternoon and moving the funds into a 300 AAC blackout upper. ....the lower, buffer tube, magazines, etc are fully interchangeable. The range is lessened, but her hunts are maybe 50 yards max ........typically much less... so it should make for a good rifle for her this season..... !!

Thanks, I hunted with a 222 when I was kid. I was much more comfortable when I moved up to a 243. She is a great shot and would have a me or my Dad with 308 or 30-06 beside her.

The 300 Blackout seems like a great short range caliber. Most of our hunting is field hunting on my Grandparents farm with shots from 100 to 300 yards. When I was a kid we hunted at another cattle farm that we owned where shots were more likely to fall in the 200 to 400 yard range with some 25-06 kills out to 500 yards.

What brand of gun is this? and is this legal to own if your not in the military/police? Thanks

I don't know the make of it, and I was playing with it in the back lot of the police department, I don't know the legality of having one outside the military/police.
