Very little of their lumber comes from Canada...... The Trump administration put a 24% tariff on lumber coming from Canada into the US, might have something to do with it!
Agreed. This is all market manipulation and politics....not the supply of a managed natural resource. Lumber prices are stupid in Canada too. Markedly manipulated.

I removed the brake booster from the 06 Duramax yesterday morning. The hard part was getting access to the 4 nuts on the firewall behind the brake pedal and the clip holding the brake pedal to the pushrod. I had to get creative. The new one went in easily.
The old had started leaking power steering fluid from the weep hole.
The new one being positioned in the hole in the firewall.

I needed a place to lie down to get under the dash and disconnect the brake pedal and the 4 nuts behind it. Hey, don't laugh, it worked.

And of course the dog lent a helping paw when I was down there. He jumped up into the seat to bark out torque values. ;)

@zipper Looks familiar. I do the very same thing when working under the dash.

Set up for spraying lacquer today- trying to finish a bunch of winter projects before boating season!BD5BFF87-A6EC-4915-BB6D-13A741FA6762.jpeg

Sent my trim tabs out for powder coat. We have a black hull so decided to match. Picked them up Friday. 28233C37-103F-41DC-8953-E05A64E9863F.jpeg

Buddy of mine brought a TRX over that he borrowed from a mutual friend. That thing is an absolute monster. The power is just insane. Happened to find a Raptor at our local ramp. Raptor looks like a toy next to it. Also appears our ramps are already covid crazy. Can't wait to try and use them Yay! :sarcasm:

My bday was the other week, but I'm not into being the center of attention. So we had a low key get together with our cul de sac friends. Wife had this made at Publix. They did a pretty damn good job. I love publix cakes. Some of my favorite.

I use this line A LOT, permission given to steal it for everyone here:

"Honey, you really only have yourself to blame"

How far and how quickly you have to run will vary with the anger and strength of your wife and anything she may throw at you ?

Meanwhile...
Our son is visiting the land of @rkim808. I really want to go.

While my Spring-breaking youngest spent a day in the City, albeit they declared they like it a lot more from the water, lol.

Aloha @swatski are they still here and on what island?

So we checked off something we didn’t even know was on our bucket list this weekend and rode out an EF1 tornado in our camper during a spring break camping/boating trip on Lake Keowee. Glad to say no one was hurt; but it sure sucked to be that vulnerable. I took the boat back the night before as we knew heavy rain was going to pass; but never expected the odds of a direct tornado hit. Glad it was tiny. We were lucky the trailer and all the trees around us stayed put!

I can't imagine how scary that must have been.

I believe they just got back, they were on O'ahu, visiting with my much younger sister who lives there, and her new baby.
They absolutely loved it, albeit I have not gotten a full trip report, yet.

One day, I'll make that trip. It's going to be a while thoigh given my current schedule ?
