Great image in the back, Portland Headlight, My wife and I got married right there. We have the same thing in our house! Love to see it.

Just rolled past otootles in Brandon Florida. I think @Julian knows somebody there?

Did you have to flatten the area, or were you using that to plant posts? That seems like a tool you were comfortable using, but not necessarily the right tool - usually folks make those choices due to circumstances, like towing vehicle or what the rental house requires for a towing vehicle. I really like messing around with stuff like that, and used to work at a rental house, as well as running equipment when I had a landscaping job. The things that people would drive in, hoping to haul some piece of equipment was startling! Yeah, I've got a Geo Metro, and I've got a temporary hitch, but I'm only going 15 miles down the road, that front end loader on an equipment trailer shouldn't be a problem! o_O?

Went digging a few post holes and with some mich bigger than others. Used a hand auger to do 16 posts holes for the fence, had a power tool ready for this job but decided it was just too hot to do this part of the job by hand.

Very happy to have diagnosed and fixed an issue with the auto pilot that has been hanging over me all season. The Raymarine auto pilot had been giving a no pilot message and no bearing from the flux compass. Basically auto pilot would not work. I found that the sailing wind instrument had issues with the sea talk network as it passed thru the wind instrument on it way to the axiom 9 chart plotter. A new I60 wind instrument for $460. Now we can see our B.O.A.T., with a heading, at our slip.

I may be mistaken on the source of my elation…could be from the zero gravity “cone head” ipa I am drinking.

A few days ago, I got a couple of quick pictures of this hawk going by. My wife thought it was carrying something, but I didn't get a good look. Forgot all about it until I started editing some pictures tonight and zoomed in a little on this one...She was bringing a snack to one of the kids, who was in a nearby tree crying like they hadn't eaten in days. They're old enough to hunt for themselves, but they spend a lot of time trying to talk her into doing it for them.

More home improvement (above ground pool and deck) related sights. This is the first time I’ve ever had concrete trucked and pumped in. A lot more expensive than DYI but I didn’t miss buying 60 lbs bags, driving them home, mixing concrete or cleaning up the mess. The last pic is the crew that was here to do final prep of the site and work the pour efforts. Weird to think that I was paying for those people to be here this morning.

That squat on the tow vehicle... Is there any leveling system, or is it only noticeable by looks, and not while driving?

I have 7 people in the car and you cant tell it but I was down hill there at the post staging area.

This was a first for us. Heading back to the dock this evening at about 6:30pm. Saw a young doe in the water about 600' from shore, swimming parallel to the shoreline. There's a small island a few hundred feet from shore that the deer will sometimes swim to, but we were almost a half-mile from that area. She was out where the boats run back and forth at 30mph. For about five minutes, we coaxed her back in to shore. Strong swimmer. She was never struggling, just seemed confused about the right way to go.

Looks like I need to go check the cover on the boat tomorrow after work prior to the storm coming close to land.

The kid in front is walking up the dock like a boss with his #1 fingers up to the sky, followed closely behind with what appears to be the MyPillow CEO. ;)
