Texoma Gathering 2017 July 22nd and Aug 12

@Jebinok I got some extra grey bunk carpet. Bring her up to Norman and we can fix your bunks. Then we can try to find my loose ground.

@farrelltravis I have some terminal ends, bring her down to texoma and we can fix you ground, then we can fix my bunks!

Sounds like a plan! lol Can we wait until 5/26, 5/27/, or 5/28? That's when we will be down next.

In all seriousness - on my ground issue - I read that the trailer tongue swing can be the issue. That connectivity on the ground can be lost at the trailer swing pivot point. Any pointers on that?

@farrelltravis, do you not have a ground wire from the connector on your truck to the trailer? The tongue to ball connection does not provide the best ground.

Yes, I do. But, there is a loose ground connection on the trailer somewhere.

@farrelltravis , hey bro!...the easiest way to eliminate the ongoing ground issues is to replace them with LED's. They are less finicky and don't get the ground issues as easily. If your wire is good to the trailer, do check it, but if it is good, then it is another ground issue at a bulb more than likely...and those bulbs can make good contact one minute and vibration can cause an issue a minute later. Or, you can just run all new wiring...but the issue won't be the wiring I suspect, it will be in the fixture and just not making good contact...if the ground wire to the trailer is good. Remove that wire, clean, and replace btw. It is possible for the issue to be the pigtail hookup, so check hot and ground there too.

He does! I have the desire, just don't have the boat...so I read but haven't been saying much. When we took the boat to Lake Powell, I was on a beach that was just perfect, and told Clara, can you imaging all the gang from Jetboaters (Tex/Ok/AR) right here...I am so busy I don't have time to tend to a boat, but I will miss seeing all of you guys. I am going to attempt to be there but will have to bum a ride. The RV park at Highport is open, so we have easy accommodations. As it gets closer, and I know my schedule, I start begging for water support! lol

I'll bet there will be more than one boat launched from High port.
If not give me a call. But we are usually late to the party.

Powell looks like a dream vacation. I have a hard time leaving work for a vacation like that.

@farrelltravis
I think you have the longest signature on the site.

@txav8r has a spot on our cruiser whenever he makes it over to Highport! When you have your schedule figured out let us know and we'll work something out.

@DCB-270 We'll be up the following weekend too so keep us posted if y'all make it down so we can meetup. We'll keep an eye on the weather as well.

@PEARCE they are showing thunderstorms now. But we will see.

We should be up tomorrow around two. I have a 0530 sim and plan on heading up as soon as I get home from work.

But the font is small......lol

I kept asking @Julian if it was too long. I can always shorten it, but then where do I get to brag about all the things I have done to my retro antique '09 Yamaha??? lol

@DCB-270 bummer, better come down today, this weekend looks great

I like your "no clothes" jeb hahahaha

Your signature falls within the guidelines. Needs to be shorter than the sidebar, and listing things in paragraph form is one of the best ways to accomplish that (verses one line for each mod). Now he just needs to document all those in posts and add links to this signature! :-)
