Shot a smoke morph turkey from the boat this morning. I didn’t even know they were a thing. Very cool looking bird. It’s a genetic mutation that can be passed on to offspring.

Buying 100' of 6/3 wire for my heat pump install almost killed me. I wonder what the weight, value, length, etc of those spools are. That's an impressive and costly operation. Nice drone shots.

Here's the deal with those barges on Lake Champlain
They're laying a 97-mile portion of a transmission line called the Champlain Hudson Power Express that will connect New York City to Quebec hydropower.

The OE Fulton jack finally crapped out. Stripped the gears in it while trying to hook it to the truck. Pulled the jack off of my aluminum project trailer to get me by until I decide what I want to do permanently.

Took a day trip to Port Canaveral yesterday with the wife, kids and in laws. Saw a SpaceX booster docked on the barge and some cruise ships back behind it. I wasn’t quick enough to get the picture, but the SpaceX recovery boat with the giant net was headed up the river when we sat down to eat.
