One picture of your last outing.

Headin’ out today! 80 degree temps today and cooling for the rest of the foreseeable forecast. Thought we’d play hooky and do a shakedown cruise to make sure it is all working great. Just thought I’d show off our first double pump of the year 😂IMG_1848.jpeg

It went well and I think the surf set up is going to work (wakeshaper without ballast besides my fat ass trying to hang off the side, turns out my fat ass is still about a 1/4 of what I’ll need). One of the things I forgot of course is sunscreen! 😂IMG_6740.jpegIMG_6742.jpeg

Awesome little boat, but sent her up the road just a few weeks ago to make way for a 255xd. Better fit for the family.

I agree. My dad is big into Allison boats and was able to tour the factory in Tennessee a few years ago. He had a line on a 13' Allison with a 90hp but the guy sold it out from under him while he was on his way to pick it up. Before that, he had a Duo Mystry 17 with a 150 Tower of Power. Now he has a 21 Checkmate Enchanter with a 235hp Evinrude machined to 285hp on the rack that came off a crashed Allison. Not Allison quick, but runs high 70s to low 80s on a good day.

The slide is an absolute blast! It's definitely more geared towards kids, but it has a 400lb rating so I had fun with it too. Going to be hard to get them off that thing. Blowing it up was fine, getting it deflated was a huge pain. Little man was tired today. Had to mow his Gigi's lawn this morning before we went out. It was just me and him today as we were making sure everything was good with the boat. Mom and sister were clothes shopping anywho. I'd rather have another vasectomy than go to the mall shopping. 😆 The wind was insane today. Never seen white caps on this lake when it wasn't storming. 20250517_135306.jpg20250517_140110.jpg20250517_141008.jpg20250517_143412.jpg20250517_145156.jpg20250517_162420.jpg

I see a future endorser here..
Pepsi, Doritos, Pringles, Jersey Mikes and Stearns. Reminds me of that bit in Wayne’s World lol.

@suke what's the inflator you have? My Ryobi can move the inflator attachment to the exhaust spot, and that thing would be deflated in 5 minutes or so. My Milwaukee inflator doesn't do this, so I went with the better all-around solution

I have a Craftsman one similar to that and I can move it to suck out the air, but it kept sucking in the vinyl around the port. I have clear plastic tubing at home and inserted that so that wouldn't happen. That made quick work of it. I'll toss that in my tool bag for the boat for next time.

If you can source a pen (I have an old Bic that can be used), remove the guts and put that through the nozzle.

If your Craftsman is built similarly, the pen will butt up against the intake grate so it doesn't get eaten up by the blower.

The extra length out the nozzle will help to keep the opening from closing around the nozzle, the pen is hollow, so hopefully it helps to keep more of the airway open and not slow down deflation.

If it happens to slide out into the tube, the extra length of the pen will help you recover it - ask me how I know 😂

Talking about butt and extra length, your opening yourself up for some “that’s what she said” jokes lol
