Yes, We usually go to the Bullfrog area because it's closer and I like how remote it is.

Suchawittygal @ others,
We are going to go to Pirates Cove for our kids Spring Break 3-22-25
Booked an RV Site with Full HookUps on the River $160 for the 3 Nights...
We will Bring our RV , Boat, and Polaris Ranger (we already do Desert stuff)..
I let you all know what its like....
If anyone else happens to go, hit me up and I will buy you a Drink!
Larry

@lashburn1 what is the expected water temp out there next week?
I think cold...as Heck.... 60s. ...image.jpg
We are going to RV camp, try new Boat out, and maybe do some Off Hyw trails with our Side By Side.
We've heard nothing but great things from friends about the place.
Don't know how much , in water stuff we will do. Our Girls all have wet suits.
Air should be mid 80s per forecast.
We are excited either way.

Sounds like a great outing @lashburn1..I look forward to some pics and feedback. Hey, do you guys go to Glamis also?? I see you like riding!

We're going to be in Mammoth for the week of 3/24 for spring break snowboarding...then it's ON for boating!! I just can't wait. We have to nail down a date for this Havasu meet. I'm thinking perhaps the weekend of July 13th? What do you all think? we miss all the traffic of the 4th. Thoughts??

We have not been to Glamis yet, we want to. Just got RV and desert stuff this season RZRs and a Ranger....

We are in Lake Powell 7/6-14 this year.
Then, Steamboat Lake Co. 7/18-30 or so. ...

We may do a few Parker/Havasu Trips too before and after those dates. ...
We do a lot of last minute stuff with Boat and RV as work permits.

Havasu and Pirates Cove(25miles up River ) were both Fun and Jet Boat Friendly.
Saw quite a few Yamaha Boats enjoying the Area too!!
Yes, we waved to ALL of them.

Let me know what you all end up doing , lots of RV , and Hotel options depending on your budget.

I was thinking July 13th. then we miss all the July 4th crowd (it might be kind of late to reserve rooms/spots for the 4th), what do you all think??

Whatcha thinking, pirate Cove or nautical Inn or?

I vote for Nautical or at least closer to Havasu City. Pirates cove is a distance from Havasu. Definitely worth a trip on the river to check out, but I think being closer to LHC would be a better option. It could also allow the option for those who want hotel to book at the Nautical or wherever, or the option to camp/rv, which we do usually, but still be close to everyone as a group... I can be down for whatever, but not in 100 % yet due to getting the time off work...

We drove by the nautical Inn in our boat last weekend, it looks pretty nice.

If we were able to make the trip, that would definitely be an option for us too

I'll be out there May 16-18. On the river. Up by Needles. Usually float through the gorge and on down towards the ol' sandbar at least once when we go....but sometimes only as far as Topock or over to Pirates Cove. Later in the season we are trying to put together a trip with the RV's to stay on a peninsula at Moabi.

That is the Pirates Cove resort right?
That is awesome, that's where we just stayed twice.
The facilities are phenomenal, great place to stay on the river!!
