We want to see the fireworks by boat this year on the 4th. We have not been to lake gaston yet. The fireworks are set off on the eaton road bridge. Anyone familiar with gaston have any suggestions where to put in? We would be pulling out real late so the ramp needs to be open late.

We could have a jetboaters.net meet up and fireworks get together!

We go every year for the 4th. The volunteer fire department up there in Littleton, NC does the fireworks off the bridge. This year the fireworks are on July 2nd.

Put in at Eaton Ferry Bridge at Morning Star Marina. Easy access, good food and reasonably priced gas.

I'll be in on the South East side of the bridge with my SX190 (white and blue). Come say HI, have a beer and relax with us. We get a house each year from VRBO.com

Red arrow is marina and blue is our house we rent.

We had a gathering there a few years ago. We rented from Stone House Timber lodge...they have their own ramp and reasonable rates, and docks too! Might want to consider that route vs pull off the lake late at night....

I think its like $10 or $15 to put in. The house we rent has a ramp in the neighborhood so I just use that.

Side note, we are renting the house from Saturday to Saturday and will be pulling out late too after fireworks.

Hope to see you there!
