I cooked a very special dinner for Claire and I to celebrate our 52nd Anniversary. We were married on 18 January 1969 at the Benjamin Franklin Village in Mannheim Germany, After a lengthy consultation it was decided that our anniversary dinner would start with an appetizer of fresh seared smoked sesame seed encrusted tuna and prosciutto wrapped sea scallops. The entree was saffron infused risotto with mushrooms topped with seared fresh scallops. The desert is a decadent Death by Chocolate cake topped with fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate, chocolate covered espresso beans, white baby marshmallows and white chocolate surrounded by fresh whip cream. The wine was a Robert Craig 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Mount Veeder, NAPA Valley.

The dinner was served on Rosenthal china which was a wedding present from my Aunt and Uncle. [flag]

I've got a long way to go until I get to John's level, but for me, it's a job, and like any job worth doing, it requires effort and work by the people wanting to end up with great results. I just hope I'm doing a good enough job that she doesn't want to fire me! LOL
