Anyone with YDS..need a favor

Aw, crud. I got distracted and forgot to check mine! My apologies. Been on vacation, a retreat, back to work between... And look--a squirrel!

Ok, have to go up to fix my electrical issue and will definitely get readings then.

It does give a range of 0-90. But 80.5 is what mine was showing. Not sure if it opens up more while on the water. Other things to check, if you haven't already would be oil soaked air filters and possibly contaminated fuel. But I would imagine the fuel would show signs of sputtering.
Just wondering if the auto choke would limit the throttle valve travel until the engine is at operating temp.

Fuel injected engines do not have a choke. Fuel and spark are controlled via the computer with input from various sensors.

I'm missing the one db called SE1017.dbf does anyone have that?

Did you update the database?

Yes. However I don't believe my original install disc has all the required databases. See screen shot below with original install.

Looks the same as mine (e.g I don't have an SE1017.dbf in that directory either). Sorry to bear bad news...

What operating system are you using?
Maybe delete and reinstall.

I'm running Windows 8. The same laptop setup worked perfectly on my 2009 AR210. I believe the 2015 boat must require a new database file which I don't have. I need this file SE1017.dbf. My YDS install disk doesn't have the database file in the db update folder.

Apparently YDS 2.0 is out. I'm assuming that software has the new database file.

When I purchased the YDIS the vendor told me that 1.33 works on late model boats including the 2015. The YDIS 2.0 is used on the waverunners.
Thanks, I hope you have the latest DB files :)

Has anyone figured out if this works on the 2015's yet. Looking at buying but want to make sure I get the right one

1.33 doesn't work on the 2015 boats. I believe the drivers have changed for version 2.13. So the regular usb to serial cables probably won't work either. I tried version 2.00 and it didn't work.
