To me ebay is a pretty scary place and I do not even begin to understand the shenanigans that go on there. That said, I have no reason to think anything was rigged or irregular about the 232 LS auction I was interested in. Except the winning bidder being a no-show.When I was looking, eBay didn't seem to be the place to sell. I saw most boats finish below reserve or not sell. The Limited models do seem to go for a premium and he probably still thinks it's the summer selling season. He's running out of time so he should take the deal. Mine is not an "S" model so no tower (I think that's the only difference?) but I would take $25k if I were selling.
Either way, you end up with a great boat so grab that thing before time runs out!
@Bruce He will likely end up doing just that! And he is a character, LOL.The 232 owner is going to sit on the boat all winter over a couple of thousand that he is unlikely to get.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You will love it!!!!Someone is happy...

If he has salt spray ( under normal boating conditions ) on this boat we are going to have issues....LOL wrong section of the US for that. When we went to buy new earlier this year. That is my favorite color and style. I love it the green adds awesome contrast and white should help a lot with staying cool and hiding salt spray. Congrats and hope it works soon and you are on the water! I secretly wish we went with the new but I'll have that boat or a newer one in 5-7 years or so.
