Bimini 2019 July 7th (Bahia Mar) depart July 8th for Bimini return July 13th

you leaving tomorrow? what time you plan if ? as i saw the forecast tomorrow is bit better than Saturday
Yeah....the forecast tomorrow looks like the best day for the next 4-5 days....Sat and beyond looks rough! Be safe out there!

we were at shark lab in south bimini this morning @1000, saw the powerful thunderstorm there, found my battery compartment flooded with 0.5 inch rain, so does anchor and ski compartment, lucky is manageable !

I found the Shark Lab "tour" to be quite disappointing. All they did was sit us on the beach and tell us about sharks and then take us to a small pen and show us a baby nurse and lemon shark. I was expecting something a little more.....

Please keep up updated on the power situation while you are there. (your location - and any power interruptions and duration).

That does look like a nasty storm....they say a hurricane is brewing in the gulf.....hope it pulls all of that there!

Bimini big game has not had an outage the entire time we have been here. They have their own generators for when there's a power issue.

I'm still crossing Saturday. Probably late morning as it looks manageable.

Might do plane wreck and possibly Honeymoon again.

Also, Thursday at 8pm, I'm at the casino bar at RW ;) now

Throwing this out there, Saturday crossing later in the day is better, looking 12 noon possibly crossing.

Two of us are leaving at 0800 tomorrow, meeting at Blue Water Marina.

there is nothing wrong with leaving in the afternoon, except that the USCG has less of daylight time to find you if things go real bad.

Might have to delay the departure with storm overhead.

If you look on the west side of the island, the waves are 4’-5’ feet high crashing into the beach.

Let’s shoot for 1000, that’ll give time for the water to calm down a bit.
