Bimini 2019 July 7th (Bahia Mar) depart July 8th for Bimini return July 13th

While we were there the wind was blowing 15mph from the south, creating 2’+ waves at short intervals all day long. More like a washing machine.

My perspective is that any wind over 10 mph is likely to turn the stream into a washing machine.

Yes you are correct, but I was answering a question specific to the Little Bahama Bank.

no update from BS marina, pull the trigger, no more hanging in the air .....

RW condo booked with owner on July 8, return 13, plan to go and return both days in morning if weather permitted.

There are some good prices at RW, but there's no refund and no word about a place to dock. I'm guessing that I will pull the trigger for RW, but still working on a few coordinating logistics.

You can make RW marina reservations at
Bahamas Vacation Packages & Specials - View Our Current Offers

You will likely want a golf cart to get between a Bimini Bay condo and the marina.

I would get the slip reservation in ASAP to avoid RW selling out.

With BS out of the rental business for summer 2019 other places should fill quickly.

Looks like my schedule is changing and I can't make these dates! :-(

I am now looking at July 1-8. I have secured a condo and slip at Bimini Sands and am taking the risk that this will all work out! The condo I have is 2 units and I am looking to "sublet" the 1 bedroom unit to anyone that would like to join us on this trip. The Unit number is 3F which from the map you will see is on the beach pretty close to the pool. $1500 seems like a fair price for the whole week.

The owner was just there and says the pool is open and clean and the restaurant is open. I am going to discuss with her that if the pool isn't open, we will get a significant discount!

I will be going with my Brother, Nephew (20), and Daughter (14). We will be hitting Honeymoon harbor to swim with the rays (likely twice), the sapona, the light house, the plane wreck and hopefully catching some decent snapper!

Hit me up in a conversation if you are interested and ready to commit.

Our itinerary will be:
June 30th drive down to FL and stay at a local hotel. (we won't be slipping overnight)
July 1- get up early (like 6am ish) and drive to the ramp, launch, park the cars and take off (8-9am ish).
July 8- return to FL.

No Motel 6 this time, right?

LOL....no....Motel 6 is forever off my list....that was a major foul up on my part! LOL Lesson learned for sure. We will likely stay at the Homewood Suites or Courtyard.....will see which has a bigger parking lot.

I know the owner well. I am sure that you will find her units to continue to be well maintained.

I believe these are pictures of 3F. One Bedroom Direct Oceanfront - 3F

$1,500 is a great deal for 7 nights.

I am looking at that unit for the 8-12 timeframe. How did you reserve the slip (email, online, etc)? I'm at work, our computers block many sites.

I emailed Donny Roberts directly. donnyroberts48@yahoo.com

There will be no discount this year, and I wouldn't mention being with any group as they seem intent on messing with groups (or were last year).

Please remember that the people you reach at Bimini Sands today may not be the people working there this summer.

My guess is that the dockmasters will stay but have new management and be employed by a new company.

I understand there are grand plans for dining but that will take time. Hopefully someone will be running the Petite Conch.

A golf cart would be nice but to be honest the shuttle runs thorough every few minutes and its not required just from my experience the little time I spent there last year.
