Many of the "veterans" will likely be in on the planning for Bimini 2020. I expect it to be a bigger trip(s) next year due to this years challenges with Bimini Sands and the power situation.

I do know there is also an Abaco 2020 trip in the planning....but this is not for first timers and requires a lot of time, and a lot more prep.

If you haven't already read the Bimini prep thread....read that before considering this trip.

We are very interested in the Bimini 2020 trip please keep us posted on the dates.

Although I agree, that is not a good reason not to gossip in the meantime. Or stress out for a trip that is 10 months away.

Has anyone tried Resorts World?
Only reason I ask is they have a place 10 miles from my house here. And they always send me crap about Bimini. I know contractors that work there and wonder if it would be worth asking for a group deal? But I don’t know anything about there place there.

It's a casino resort. But mostly a hotel. Docks are not floating like sands. More food opportunities. More amenities all around. Destroying the mangroves to put up more structure.
More expensive for me to get two rooms there than a condo at bimini sands with bedroom and loft.

I will more than likely be attending this year. I’m on terminal leave and should have time to make plans and be more involved. Let’s hope the 2016 crossing doesn’t happen again........

I'm currently eyeballing the week of July 5th or July 12th. Leaning towards the 12th so as not to miss July 4th parties in the neighborhood.

We have a trip booked for July 30-July 8th 2020. Staying at Hilton currently but looking at airbnb as well. 2 boats going as of now. If anyone else is planning to go at this time, we could make the crossing in numbers
