Was driving through the neighborhood and this beautiful bass boat, brand new, was out in front of someones house. I slowed down and said nice boat. We chatted for a few minutes, really nice guy. He was just trying to figure out how he could mount a tower to it and do some serious wakeboarding as well. He doesn't fish much, but saw it at Bass Pro Shops and the sales guy said it can do it all. His first boat. $90k.

I didn't offer any information, finished my conversation and drove off. I was a bit perplexed. Got the image off of Bass Pro's website. 2024 RANGER Z520R Ranger Cup Equipped w/ 250L Pro XS Torque Master Mercury | Bass Pro Shops

Tried to stand on a pontoon boat ladder at a Bass Pro/cabelas once. Was told by the salesman that ladders weren’t supposed to be used on dry land. Pretty much solidified that I was not meant to buy a boat there. Ever.

If it can "do it all"...where do you mount the bimini top, or the grill stand, or the stripper pole? How do you hang the toddler jumper swing? Dude has a few mods to figure out...

If you skip the stripper pole, it lessens the chance of needing the toddler swing, but at that point, why not just buy a casket and strap a motor to it and turn it into a two-fer? ?

We just bought this ss 4 step Ladder . The advertised weight rating was 600#, $66. I know, lol.. They still have this lawyer warning sticker attached.

Does Michigan have a cooling off period law? If so maybe you could help a brotha out and get him to take it back, then introduce him to possibly a 23 model year Yamaha left over at Wonderland Marine he would be a happy camper.

I just want to say.....I have never been more honored than to get a "toddle jump swing mod" recognition.

I'll accept this honor for all the dads that will, likely, never have the opportunity to mount a stripper pole to their boat!

Thank you!

All respect intended! My kids were already late 20's when I saw yours, and I still almost put one on my boat.

Yeah i don't know the guy, so I learn not to tender advice too much, especially with a purchase he is proud of. :)

I always wanted to add a s3x swing to a wake tower

So I see room for two or three in the boat while at speed, but that is about it.

Stop saying the sad words ?

It's bad enough for @SotallyTober to corrupt us, but you don't have to remind us of the fun we never had!

And HOLY CRAP, GRANDKIDS?!? I'll send you my Life Alert, it's time for a new model for me anyway.

Hey, I'm just coming to grips with the reality of the situation.

Who knows, maybe in a couple decades we'll have a thread in the adults area for all the retirement center ladies hanging off the back of the boat?!?!?
