@0627Devildog suggested that we add a trophy for anyone who has sucked up a rope into their pump. So I have just gotten around to doing this. There is now a question at the bottom of your Personal Details screen that asks if you have sucked up a rope. Answer it "YES" and over night the trophy award engine will award you 5 Trophy Points!

Now I do NOT recommend you go out and suck one up to get the 5 points! Trust me from personal experience...I still remember 13 years ago when I sucked up my first and ONLY rope so far! But if you do suck one up....we'd love to see the photos as there is nothing like reveling in someone else's pain! LOL

I earned my trophy a couple of years ago, just as we were ready to head back to the ramp at the end of my first outing as a boat owner.

How many times can one join the club? ;)

add me to the trophy list, just sucked my first rope this evening. We were doing a bit of tubing towards the end of the day and the rope floated below the boat, I started the engine and heard the rope getting sucked in, immediate killed the engine.
The coast guard was right near us when it happened, the towed me to my slip for free. I then spent the next 1.5 hours cutting little bits of rope out. got most of it, still feel a little in there.

I am going to pull the boat out of the water and pull the pump and clean out the rest.

Live and learn I guess ....ugh

Just to rub dirt in the wound, I lost a show somehow while cutting the rope, had to drive home barefooted lol

last week was our first trial on a tube. On what would have been the very last ride my wife noticed that something was not right. We ended up crawling back to the ramp while the kids were putting a show. We put the boat on the trailer and removed the rope. Very proud we did not have to cut the rope. Very shaken by trying to free the rope from the intakes. I wont be trying that again, ever....

PS. the video is for documenting the trophie points. I will take it down without a week or so.
