Having knee problems??

Just came back from my Orthopedic Dr. I've been having issues with my right knee from officiating football this season. Got the steroid injection, but also got some interesting advice. I know I'm over weight and knew that losing weight would help my knee. But I had NO IDEA that for every 1 pound of weight I lose it's equivalent to 4 pounds of stress on the knee. Holy crap! So I lose 10 pounds that's like shedding 40 pounds when running. I've gained some new motivation!!!!

Just thought I'd share with anyone else suffering from knee pain.

Doin' rehab now and I could lose a few lbs. too @BigN8 ! It definitely cannot hurt.

It is amazing what a little extra weight can do! For me, gaining 25lbs gave me sleep apnea....since there was NO WAY I was going for one of those CPAP machines....I lost the weight and presto....apnea gone!
