Ideas for fun party games (easy ones)

We have a New Year's eve party every year (in part because it is also our daughters birthday), and we've always had a couple of games we play that everyone enjoys as they are fun and easy:

1. The name game - print out a bunch of name tags with famous people's names, or names of your guests. Then walk around putting these names on people's backs. They have to guess who they are with Yes or No questions only.
2. At the same time, give each person a necklace (like a mardi gras one), and if someone gets them to say "No" (or some other word you choose) then they have to give ALL their necklaces to the person who got them to say it. You are never out of this game as you can just as quickly get back into it.

Playing both of these at the same time is fun, and really gets the competitive people to have fun, and those that aren't can just give up their necklace and not worry about their name.

That said, we've played this a lot and I've been looking for another game to play....

Any ideas?

We did a Christmas party one year and turned it into a murder mystery. I downloaded all the info and script from the web. I believe the mystery was called "I saw mommy killing Santa Claus". It was pretty fun. The only problem is as the night progressed and people drank more they lost interest. But it was fun until my wife fired up the karaoke!!!

Balloon games are always fun, two teams passing the balloon from each other from under their chin, how many can a person burst in 30 seconds by sitting on them etc.

We built an adult sized Jenga kit with 2 x 4's. It was pretty simple to make and was a pretty big hit at our 4th of July party. I'll look for pics.
