This looks like an awesome trip! Im looking at getting a jetboat in the near future. Due to storage space and towing capacity, I am looking at the 19 foot boats. Would this size boat be safe to make the trip? Thanks!
I can make this trip with only a jetski which has minimal storage. Theres a washer and dryer in the condo. Most important items for me are a snorkel, mask and old cooler for the squid to feed the sting rays and sharks ay honeymoon harbor and an extra pair of flip flops, somehow my only pair went missing on my first trip. I had to walk barefoot into town and pay a small fortune for a pair that would cost $1.00 here

So anything special gonna be happening when we get there?

So a couple guys I talk to on Greenhulk are heading to Bimini on Saturday morning they were kind enough to share their delorme info so if any want wants to follow along and watch in envy lol.
I had not looked at the Weather till now but I'm wondering if they wont delay a day Saturday looks sporting right now but Sunday and Monday look pretty good.
Saturday is up from 2 footers a couple of days ago to close to 3' in the morning now but improving through the day for Fort Lauderdale. Miami has a little better forecast. Friday looks rough!
Where are they crossing from? One of our members is going on Saturday as well. He plans to gather some intel on Bimini Sands.
I'm watching closely. Me and a buddy boat will decided tomorrow the plans for Saturday, Sunday or midday Saturday. I'll post up my InReach in this thread also. The forescast has changed quite drastically since Monday and Tuesday. A boat tried to go out Port Everglades in <2' forecasted and didn't even make it out the channel and came back. (In a 35' cruiser) he reported a solid 5' or more.
