I have video footage of us going out that day somewhere if I didn't delete it but it was worthless as all you could see was the bow of the boat lol. I thought the wtf thing well before we went out when @Andy S said lets ride around the island I already had looked at the the weather and knew what the conditions were I think I even looked at you when they came across the radio and said that and told you that was probably not a good idea. @swatski this was the day I decided I was going to buy a 15+ boat if you would have been there it would not have been a question as to which boat you were going to buy lol. @1948Isaac isaac was rolling into very heavy seas at about 35mph were where catching several feet of air every few seconds and the boat handled like a champ! It was bad enough that after I few minutes I turned around and no one was behind us everyone else didn't even follow us out. on @Andy S boat the woman were all telling him no way lol and he didn't have much of a choice to not follow or have a possible mutiny on his hands.

Yeah, I think that's when Josie said "no boat tricks, no boat tricks".

LOL LOL LOL your right Robert It would be flat water on the atlantic side they said, LOL LOL

That must have been the second pass out the channel when we were just playing I promise faces didn't look like that the first pass out the channel at 35 mph lol.

Oh, I'm just messing around. I couldn't see a lot as I was taking a ton of spray if I tried much.

The following video highlights our time spent in and around Exumas during days 4, 5, & 6 of our journey. Hope you enjoy...

@robert843 @Andy S @JROD @1948Isaac

Fantastic video again, did you do a recce before running that close to the shore and rock, especially at 3.00 when you went through those rocks .

Thanks. Not really along the shoreline but I did roll through those big rocks slowly once prior to recording the shot in the video.

@1948Isaac I was in the keys last week getting blasted too on the water. Was doable but trim tabs are coming for sure to get more use from my boat year round down here.

@1948Isaac @2nazt - Would yall please post a few pics of install process of the trim tabs? They are on my (winter time) mod list as well but would love to see how your install goes.

Thank you very much

@Bennie mine will be a fall/winter thing as well but I'll post pictures and follow what @Bruce has done in his write up. I am unsure if I want to pay extra for the attitude controller or just use manual control for our light boat I'm not sure I need it.

I would not buy the Attitude Control System again. I can not find the price but most likely I would buy this new "Manual Leveling LED Control" (MLC-1) http://www.lectrotab.com/products/manual-leveling-control.php .

My opinion is that the ACS does not do a lot for our small boats and I primarily use the tabs to adjust for large wake or waves and find myself manually controlling the tabs.

Also after a while (5 damn hrs ride back) for some reason I was really tired of going up and down, so the same day i.got home I end up ordering the tabs... hopefully they will help a bit

I'm 83.5% sure @1948Isaac doesn't have trim tabs on his boat.

Not yet, but his boat may handle the big water better than yours next year!

Not so fast kemosabe, this off season I'm looking to add tabs to my boat. Based on the storage and seating configuration of my boat, when loaded down it lists to the port side. After stopping in Bimini to clear customs, Cindy and I had to re-arrange the heavy items to better balance the boat.

@Andy S you only have Trimble out drive from factory correct? Tabs and out drive should be great for you on that boat with the size and weight! Can't wait to hear that review.

You got me on the Trimble outdrive, even Googled it and still not sure. I have the Volvo Penta outdrive with duo prop rear facing. I'm looking to add the Volvo Penta QL 450 trim tabs to my boat. I think someone from Australia on the other site added these Volvo trim tabs to a 2009 SX230 Limited.

I will use the larger of the two trim tabs.

And i thought every one was smiling, maybe screaming ????? who knows. Me and @robert843 were trying to jump waves a bit higher but when we look back everyone else stayed on the other side. I guess no one wanted to join the party......LOL LOL LOL

I had a boat full of women that were telling me "NO" and one 4 year old saying "NO boat tricks Mr. Andy", so I had to sit back and watch. On the plus side, if I hadn't sat back and watched, @Ramblin Wreck wife wouldn't have gotten the great shots of @1948Isaac try to get his boat airborne.
