I will agree we only took a few pounds on the return from Bimini to Ft Lauderdale at a speeds of 30+ mph the whole way on @Andy S boat and only one that was really hard and based on the impressions I have from others it sounded like it was rougher then that in the Yamahas. The one hard one we took on @Andy S boat was almost like a rouge wave definitely the biggest one we experienced on the return @Andy S saw it last second as i felt him throttle down but it was to late and we smacked good but i will say the most impressive part of our trip even with the seas we saw was no one ever took a wave over the bow on a boat. I'm certain the hard wave we took on @Andy S boat would have come over the front of my 2011 sx240. To give you an idea both skis took waves at some point so hard we had to stop as it knocked the wind out of them those guys were troopers.
@robert843, the wind is not the only thing those hard big waves knock out of me, but we want to keep it GA rated. ;) I got hit so many times I lost count! Worse one completely knocked me backwards, like a 1K sledge hammer on the head and chest, off the handle bars, slid all way back on seat like I was on a flying inversion table and only thing that saved me from going totally of my water scooter were the two gas can on the back that caught my heels and kept me from falling off. It flooded everything, broke my right mirror, knocked open my front storage compartment, 1 Note 5 with all my Pit Bull jams on it I was listening to, is no more! The ski shut off and gave me a real bad feeling until it restarted again after a few tries. That's the stuff, that at least for me, spells EPIC! [flag]

Amazing videos and adventure, thanks for sharing!

I've had a lot of comments from friends and family about your drone shots. IMO they made a big difference.

I was proud of her and thought she did a really good job. I think she got tried of my "opinions" throughout the editing process however...hahaha

I knew you would like the first song along with the run around the rocks and of course the slow down of the wave you hit toward the end of the video.

I'm with you completely. I've all but forgotten the labor pains and only remember sunshine and rainbows :). Abacos, Keys, Bimini, Cuba, etc. I'm up for just about anything come 2017.

I really like that first song ,I am with you, I am ready for the next destination plus i just got trim tabs for my boat, that will help make the ride a bit more smoother the next time

I have a seadoo gtx and i will be buying a new one this coming week, i am still debating between the new rxp x 300 , the rxt x 260. Any thoughts

These videos are seriously awesome!!!

My boat (AR2015) 2015 can take the waves with out no problems , i just came back from the keys one week ago , 117 mile each way and 5 to 7 foot wave. The problem on waves like that is that i cant go faster than 28 miles with out getting beat up. So the trim taps will help keeping the bow down on heavy seas to avoid going up and down, and be able to probably do a bit more speed with out bouncing up and down and a better ride overall

You know I love the Seadoos. @ScarabMike can provide some insight on the new ones since he has one. The upgraded supercharger hopefully will be a big improvement since it supposed to be maintenance free. That's a big upgrade IMO. If it was me, I personally would purchase the 2016 RXT-X 300. The hull is great for ocean riding and you can ride 3 up. If your wanting to run buoys then I would imagine the RXP-X would perform better, but I'm not sure amateurs like us would tell a major difference between the 2. Only having 2 seats on the RXP-X would be a deal killer for me, but again I don't have a boat. I can't speak for the 2016s but previous model RXP-X didn't ride as good through chop (based on reviews I read) as the RXT-X would. They just handled a bit better. Both are super nice however.

Right, I'm just curious which way are you thinking of going? Bennett? Lenco? Smart tabs?
I'm very curious!

Only @1948Isaac...hahaha... 5 to 7 footers and you can't go faster then 28. I imagine most would be well under that speed.

It wasn't bad but they were big swells, Ifor the boatbow could of stayed down we could of done a bit better speed and a better rideal overall.
