Went to a new lake yesterday at 6000’…it was a tad cool but the views were stunning. There was heavy rain overnight with thunder and lightning that gave way to blue skies with a few gusts of wind but other wise light wind. The ramp and dock are tiny, it would be a challenge to launch by myself.

There were about 3 other boats on the lake over the course of the day=awesome.

Stole the grandbabies for another day and are at Shackelford Banks for the day. No one here and its a beautiful day

This was a new one for the sandbar. This guy was walking his parrot around on a float. He stopped by to say hi. The parrot did not want to move from the shade lol

What sandbar is this? Looking for new places to adventure. We usually stay in Tampa Bay (Tampa to Apollo Beach area), but last week went to Egmont Key.

Johns Pass. Gets pretty busy there. there are three sandbars and all three get pretty busy. About a 20-30 minute ride in the Gulf from the Eggmont, hop in the under the bridge and it's pretty much right there. If you wanted to check it out, I would probably trailer the boat over and launch on this side. It's a 15 minute ride from Bay Pines Boat Ramp, which you can also head up north to Clearwater beach if you wanted.

Introduced my little one to our guys trips. Was pretty awesome bringing him along, he even wanted to try surfing with me. We got up first shot! It burned my legs out quick trying to keep us both in the pocket that's for sure.

Was a blast as usual! We were down at the boat house talking and all the sudden heard running and a splash. He jumped off the top of the boat house within minutes of getting there.

Typical late afternoon Tampa rain. Just had a shower roll through Fishhawk Ranch. Plan to get the boat tonight and bring home for an Egmont Key trip EARLY tomorrow.

Rain chances are high tomorrow. Eggmont run would have been great this morning. 3mph east wind. I would have ran that full throttle.

It's my buddie's place. It's basically my heaven on earth. Normally when I go up there to hang with him I go by myself. My little one is getting big enough to hang with us now. He even has a spare lift for my boat and my ski when I bring that up.

Lake is up 8.5 feet over summer pool. Wife and friends busy, so I had to launch and retrieve by myself. Just a little chest high wading to and fro….?

OMG. Looks exactly like our dog and his life jacket. His first boat trip was last weekend. He loves the boat, but won't jump in to the lake.

Got it on the water this weekend, and installed some new Marine Mat on the bow and engine cover from Jet Boat Pilot. Looks and feels great. Also, put on some jetboaters.net decals. Next step is saving up to replace the snap-in mat in the cockpit.
