She was curious about the water (going out on the swim deck, laying down and staring at the lake) and she swims like a beast in our pool, often just doing laps in the pool by herself. We will get her in the lake the next time we go out to see how she likes it.

Maiden voyage was yesterday. This was her docked while we had some dinner at The Sunset Grill on Lake Allatoona. Nothing super fancy but, we had a blast!
Went down to one of the warmer local lakes to fish and stay the night…. Fishing was so so, caught a few drum. The night on the boat was awesome..late moon rise so got to watch the night sky and shooting stars.

I started hearing this occasional roaring sound and couldn’t figure out what it was until….
Both balloons came down close to the water. But the yellow one went back up and the wind carried it away. The second one ended up landing in where some houses were.
Decided to try out the mask, fins and snorkel later in the morning. First time I’ve used a modern snorkel, so much easier than the old style.
Still a bit new to anchoring… dropped the anchor where it says current track, let out roughly 170’ of rode in 48.5’ of water . The arc is from 8 at night until 9 in the morning.
Trailered the boat from Northern KY to Anna Maria Island in Florida last weekend and we're almost done with the return trip now. Drove down with my dad while my wife, son, brother, and mom flew. We did a similar trip to Captiva in May with my wife's family, but it was much smoother this time as my parents have been boating much longer than I've been alive.
House was on a canal and had a lift for the boat and space for the trailer next to the driveway.
Went to Egmont and Passage keys most days. Had lunch one day and bought fish for dinner at Starfish Company in Cortez.
Weather was good all but one day for us. The storms in the forecast seemed to stay further North over Clearwater and Tampa.
Passage key was beautiful and the shallow water was perfect for my 14 month old son who loved running around with his toy boats in belly-high (for him) calm water. We saw a lot of sting rays and two eagle rays along with several manatees that swam right by the boat.
Egmont is interesting with its ruins and gives the feeling of being in a deserted tropical island. Nobody else was too interested in venturing inland on the trails so most walking happened along the beach. We snorkeled the ruins off the Southwest end of the island twice, but visibility was poor and we didn't see much.
Boat performed mechanically flawlessly as it has been. We're now at around 42 hours. I am noticing more fit and finish issues though like bolts under the captains chairs coming loose and trim parts loosening. The bow umbrella and battery powered fan combo worked great for nap time.
Sunrise picture was from my solo ride to the boat ramp this morning.
