Quite possibly the last trip out. Weather was going to be in the 90s today so took off to the lake as soon as our boy got home from school. Got to play with my lumitec minis more. I'm going to miss this. Next summer we need to do more after work/school trips. Especially since we live 7 mins from this lake.IMG_20220921_194226959.jpgIMG_20220921_193119549_HDR.jpgIMG_20220921_192620758.jpgIMG_20220921_192543540.jpgIMG_20220921_190733040_HDR.jpgIMG_20220921_172720625.jpgIMG_20220921_171019423_PORTRAIT.jpgIMG_20220921_165201402_PORTRAIT.jpgIMG_20220921_165130418_HDR.jpgIMG_20220921_165106573.jpg

Water temp is getting cold. Also, I should get a towing license. Neighbor’s wouldn’t start and needed to be towed to the ramp. Never got a boat on plane while towing before today :D

Ah yes, a true southern boater ;)
Had the boat on Sebago and Long Lake last July as my parents live near there. To say the least it was refreshing.

Awesome! Next time you're up this way, give a shout!

Had a couple of warm days in a row, probably the last this season. While the weather was great the lakers weren’t biting, although yesterday we had a good one on but after peeling off a lot of line it spit the hook.

Sunrise…had my hands full when it looked better, still, not a bad shot.

Several periods of wind then calm.

When I was breaking down the port down rigger, the wire jumped off the spool and got wrapped around the axle, what a mess! The wire turned into a slinky every time I let go of it, had to cut off about 60’.

Are you trolling or jigging for Lakers? Dumb question, downrigger, duh. On Champlain, most jig for Summer lakers while they are deep. As the water cools and they come back up, trolling will resume.
