Absolutely. I know the thread says one picture, but hope you don't mind some more. We have a lake house up on Washington Island, WI and go up there for a few weeks over the summer, but we haven't had a reliable boat up there since I was a kid. So I thought it would be nice to pull the new boat up there and show the wife around all the islands and lighthouses. We packed up the dogs and the boat and started our 2 day, 1500 mile trek up to the frozen tundra. The dogs did great and pulling the boat was easier then expected. Once up there we had a few thunderstorms, but overall great weather. Highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. Average water temp was about 69, so that took some getting used to, but we did not miss the 110 degree weather in Austin. As always our stay went by way too quickly and it was time to head back down. Return trip went well, except I picked a pretty seedy hotel outside st louis that the wife was not happy about. I'm just happy the boat was there when we woke up.

I need to get one of this transom bags pronto!
Those really work, and make the setup a cinch - we were light today with only two kids and I filled center locker ~800lbs and PORT rear ~400-500lbs in addition to the swim deck bag (which takes the longest to fill, but still under 10min total setup time).

I'm sold! It would make all the difference. I contacted @jcyamaharider about one, he said they'd be in stock again soon. How soon is that looking like now Jerry?

I've been light on human ballast for the past month and it's really cramping my style...

As for my weekend. It was smokey (thanks for sharing California! *sarcasm* - truly sorry for the loss of life and property *no sarcasm*) and some rough conditions.

Looks to be through Shorts Marine.
I got it for $29 though, apparently inflation is brutal, might be able to go to Shorts Marine direct for cheaper?

I'd worry that the rod would get pulled out of that holder like that. What speed are you trolling at?

2 mph for Kokanee and between 1 and 2 mph for walleye or trout. I've never had an issue with the rods moving at all let alone coming close to being pulled out. The picture doesn't show it well, but they are angled about 45 degrees from the boat.
