First trip of the year, just for an hour to make sure everything was running smooth and to test out the WakeBooster. Water temp was a bone chilling 42°F and my arms were bright red by the time I got the booster installed, but it made quite the difference. It's hard to judge in the picture but it increased the height of the wake by at least a foot (full factory ballast in both pics, 10.5 MPH). Going to need to tie a rope to the other end of the booster's fender to keep it on board when under way.

Got the boat back from the dealer after a new windshield after it got crushed in last years floods. Took our first lake cruise to survey the carnage. The FM 2900 bridge is still being rebuilt since it washed away in October. On the way back, we saw a
Something red in the water. Apparently a 23’ Supra sunk with four adults and eight children around the same time we started up lake. It’s a sobering moment to see a boat completely upside down. Unknown yet why they sunk but all onboard were rescued with no injuries.

That’s a sad sight, glad that no was hurt or lost.

Hamsammy, where are you located? Water looks great, still about 35 degrees too cold for me to get in lol.

From a couple of weeks ago.....our first outing of the year....with 12 on board, mostly visitors from the Philippines (SIL's family)

Three observations:
1. Your boat is naked! ha. Looks odd without the bimini!
2. I've always wondered if you can actually fit 12 in it!
3. What happened to your carpet?

Yes....very naked boat. Had to rush to get it ready to go out. Didn't put the bimini on as it was 65 degrees, didn't put the carpet in as I wanted to clean it better pre-season. And yes, you can get 12 on board and she still planes pretty well - top speed was 41mph with a full tank of gas!

Sorry couldn’t help it, I know I posted a thread on it already. But couldn’t pass up the opportunity to post it up again lol.?????
