Crocodile Rock, Daniel, Rocket man.I think the first music recording I ever had was an 8 track of Elton Johns greatest hits….
Crocodile Rock, Daniel, Rocket man.
Mine was the Turtles and Stevie Wonder, yikes?
I think my next purchase got a little better, America (Horse with no name), Bad Company (Bad Company) and Boston (Boston) and Aerosmith (Toys in the attic)
My parents got a 72 Caddy (in 1974) with an eight track player and I hated the eight track player with a passion. I always hated when it changed tracks in the middle of a song. What a difference a couple of years later when I had my own car and purchased an undermount, removable, dual head cassette player. That was the way to listen to music! At 14 we had a CB radio in my dads car and an 8 track player. Who had one of these in their backseat?
