Many years ago when I was living in Houston, I went to visit a buddy of mine in Austin for the weekend. About half way home, when I got on Interstate 10 we started to get freezing rain and the road began to ice up. I put my truck in 4WD and slowed down. A lot of the native Texans were still driving at 60+ mph. I got off the road and got a hotel for the night, even though I was only an hour from my home. Watching the local news that night, many parts of I-10 looked like the cars in the above photo!
