You guys convinced me... I just placed my order. The trim sliding off has been driving me crazy.

X2, the wife said the same thing to me.@jcyamahariders wife & @jcyamaharider it drove me nuts too! Can't believe I waited so long to replace it!
Oh I have been complaining about that glue on our boat everytime I get something out of the head compartment so @jcyamaharider get going on this fix please !
I've got to give credit where it's due, I was just following/posting what others had already done. I just figured that starting a thread on JB.N might help a few guys out. I can't believe how easy it was to order the trim and install once I knew what trim would work. Thanks again @Julian for supplying the info. Finally made it down to the boat and installed the new trim. This was so inexpensive and stupid easy I almost cannot believe it. I used a tin snips to cut it and it worked out pretty well. Many thanks to itsdgm for coming up with this and sharing!
No, I used about 17' for both the helm and head door on my 2007 SX230 which should be the same as your 2008 AR230
