The problem with this is what the article I posted called out. Poland is willing to send their MIGs ONLY if we are ready and prepared to send them equivalent aircraft to replace them. We don't have them sitting around waiting to send to Poland.

It sounds like there are other issues as well. Like our government isn't exactly sure how or if they are allowed to process such a deal. I'm confused why we are the ones accepting and then passing them on.

Not sure I agree that Putin is "doomed", especially when there are plenty of Americans who are actively stumping to let Russia have their way with the Ukraine and allow their democracy to be subsumed by Putinism. Being up in arms about our gas prices while Ukrainians watch their cities being leveled by a lunatic despot....never thought I'd see the leading country of the "free" world moving towards such isolationism. While military pundits are saying that Putin's next step will be the use of chlorine gas against civilians much like was done in Syria.
