Thats incredibly difficult to view. As a father of 2 girls I can’t even imagine. There isn’t a fiber in my body that’s has a desire to rule over or control another human. I cant wrap my head around how someone can thirst for such power and control and do anything to obtain it. Also can’t wrap my head around people that allow, support, or even seek such. It’s unreal to me.

Yup. There is A LOT of propaganda and sensationalism being put out there from all sides, including the US, especially early on. I would hold responses and emotions on some things being thrown out there until it’s had some time to simmer through the info channels. The ghost fighter, images of women hurt were from other wars, old battles being shown as if they are from todays war, snake island soldiers, pic they’re using on some Ukraine President articles, etc. Obviously what is going on there is horrible but I’m just going to watch for a bit and not react to first pics or videos that pop up.

Most of what you see on any media site should be treated with a grain of salt. We had an imbedded *N* reporter that I had to escort out to our line in front of a Warthog grounded and she would perform her nightly interview a non-WR pilot and hear how he was going to bomb, strafe and carry out various missions that evening. We were actually doing that, kinda, but he wasnt. "Someone" did trade her 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies for a short satellite phone call home to their dying father though so I wont knock the reporters too badly. If we have any Warthogs pilots here, that convoy must make you salivate, given an uncontested airspace.. There is a deep history behind the Ukraine region if you take a deep dive into it. Legends are incredible, several of my students today were talking about the Ghost of Ukraine having up to 16 kills already. I have no idea where this info is coming from... the fog of war is real.

None of us are in Ukraine, we can only quote or talk about what has been reported about the war. We have clearly posted our thoughs (even if some of the "facts" may have later be found to not be correct) but I don't have a clue what you, specifically, are talking about.

It's rough to see how effective that misinformation has become. Very similar to the "Ghost of Kviv" stories we're seeing now with almost no actual evidence it exists. But as long as it gets people hyped up I can see why these legends develop in wartime.

Blah blah blah. Don't read and judge weeks' old posts while also talking about misinformation. Participate in real time or don't.

All of us, you included, have access to the same public information that is being manipulated. Some of it is obvious BS, some of it is quite plausible. Who would have thought that not a single one of those snake island soldiers would be alive, let alone all of 'em? Things will become more clear as time passes, and ultimately the truth will be that of the victor.

I think that USED to be the case. Nowaways with cameras in the hands of every human (just about) the commission of atrocities becomes harder and harder to hide. The flip side of that is Deep Fake capabilities continue to improve to the point that discerning real from fake becomes harder and harder. But we already have multiple reports (video) of cluster munitions landing - this is where the International Criminal Court hopefully comes into play - and Russia (Putin) can be charges with Crimes against civilians. So I HOPE that TRUTH will prevail regardless of the victor.
