I think this is HUGE.
There are reports of Russian military vehicles being found abandoned as well a Russian post.
Rumors going around are that rookie militants were beaten and forced to march into Ukraine.
Is this likely to be true? Probably not. However, if it is, Viva La Ukraine
Well, the Ukrainian government gave up on gun control, and are passing out weapons to anyone who will take up arms against Russia. It’s a little too late, but it would have been a substantial deterrent if the majority of the population was armed ahead of time. “A rifle behind every blade of grass” is what has protected the US from a home land invasion. At least according to foreign military leaders who have considered trying it. A million Ukrainians with ak47’s would put a swift end to the conflict.

Thanks. Using speak to text between my appointments doesn’t always make me look as smart as I would like. I try to make corrections, but don’t always catch them. The worst is when it says “I think I’m gay” instead of “I think I may”… Actually happened while I was texting my son while driving. I said “send” and a lifetime of jokes at holidays has ensued.
That would be amazing to see in masses if true. The world supports the people of Russia and Ukraine, but these power hungry dictators like Putin are a far different story.
I guess the Russians are finding it a bit harder than they anticipated.
"The 13 Ukrainian border guards stationed on a rocky Black Sea landmass known as Snake Island might have known they were doomed when the Russian warship called for their surrender Thursday during the first full day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“This is a Russian warship,” the invaders radioed to the guards. “I propose you lay down arms and surrender to avoid bloodshed and unnecessary victims. Otherwise, you’ll be bombed.”
“Russian warship, go fuck yourself,” the Ukrainians responded.

Sadly we continue buy Russian oil and fund that war machine as these brave people fight. Why, because we don't want pay a few more dollars each week at the pump. We could have avoided this, we chose to reduce energy production in this country before renewable energy is ready. For some reason, people must think Russian oil does not contain carbon.
The audio recording from Snake Island demonstrates a willingness to fight that bodes well for the Ukrainians. I hope they will be able to hold Kiev against the tanks in the northern suburb(s).

“Partisan Political comments/photos will not be allowed. Keep things generic. Saying something like: "The federal government is doing a bad job" is ok.”
So why is saying that keystone should open up so gas prices can lower partisan?
Its really sad when you think about this entire conflict....all because one man is bored and has nothing better to do that play God with all these lives. He's a candidate for trial in the international criminal courts for mass murder.
This is an interesting interaction between a civilian and the Russians. It seems this offensive has some similarities to the Battle of the Bulge. Although the Germans had planned well and knew their objectives.
From an online article from The Atlantic, earlier today, "Yesterday, Zelensky told a videoconference of European leaders that they would likely not ever see him again. The whole world can see that his execution is very likely imminent. What reason does he have to doubt that Vladimir Putin will order his murder, as the Russian leader has done with so many of his bravest critics and enemies? Zelensky’s fate is so clear that Washington offered to extricate him from Kyiv, so that he could form a government in exile. But Zelensky swatted away the promise of safety. He reportedly preferred that Washington deliver him more arms for his resistance: “The fight is here. I need ammunition, not a ride.”
Here is the difference between the President of the Ukraine and the President of Russia
One sits at a looooong table to avoid catching germs and the other (from the streets of Kyiv last night) is prepared to die to defend his country from foreign aggression. Only one of these men has earned my respect!
SpaceX billionaire Elon Musk said on Saturday that the company's Starlink satellite broadband service is available in Ukraine. Musk also tweeted that SpaceX is sending more terminals to the country.
