Looking out from the warmth of the living room with the help of binoculars, I can see Malletts Bay froze over during this cold snap. I hope anglers show patience… 5 deg. this morning.

Hope y’all are having a good Christmas. We had a white one, usually do, lol. Started off a crispy 10 degs. sparkling in the trees, camera did not do it justice again.

We drove over to “Smuggs” for lunch. I grew up skiing these 3 peaks, but no skiing today.
The base of the resort.

Every time I look at your stove and its surroundings I can only imagine how good all that warm rock makes your house feel… my little stove sits in the fireplace and keeps my whole house warm, even when its 10* out. If its zero and the wind is blowing even with the stove going full blast the boiler might run once in while to keep the house at 72*..

Getting my workout today.
Dash said front brakes were at 50% life, they don’t look any different than the new ones. Oh well, 50,000 miles, might as well.

Ambitions were high today. Valve cover was leaking oil on the Honda. I guess it’s a known issue on the 2015 and 2016 CR-Vs. just turned 90,000 miles, will button this up tomorrow.

You should follow TE Videos on FB. He is a funny lad in a Honda service department and films his repairs.

Put some running boards/side steps on the Rivian yesterday. They don't look bad, and are a significant upgrade for the wife to get in/out of the thing.

Also got my NY State inspection completed, a car wash, and the new Tuxmat's from Santa installed. Just need to get some window tint on it, and I think I'll leave it alone until it's time to start towing the boat :D

She loves the fire…
