Made the switch on Saturday!! Traded in my 2015 AR210 for the 2017 242x E- series. Put about 4 hours on the motor yesterday. The boat is amazing and the sound system is great! Didn't use the ballast bags yet. Not to happy that there is no way to clean them out specially that I will be using them in salt water primarily..

Not sure what you mean about there being no way to clean out the engines. Why can't you flush them?

I think he means rinse the ballast bags.

There is no hook up to rinse the ballast bags out. I'm sure at the end of the season I can find a way to detach them and clean them. But that may be too late.. who knows. Time will tell.

They are rubber and plastic, salt will not harm them. You should look into taking the pump out and desalting it for storage.

Any insider information if the price will be going up on the 210s? Trying to work a deal but don't think it is going to work with local dealers.

Prices go up every year - with VERY few exceptions. The only exception I can think of is when they introduced the FSH in Jan - they didn't change the price for the next model year.

Does anyone know whether there are any changes to the features of the 2018 AR190. I know there are some appearance changes (color, painted tower, etc.), but I was wondering whether there are any other changes. Also, is there a price increase as far as anyone knows? Pretty excited about buying my first jetboat. Thanks!

Only advice I can give you is buy your second boat 1st! I had the AR210 for 3 seasons took a lost on it to get the 242x
Go bigger because you will grow out of it fast.

I don't want anyone to get pissed so I don't want to share any pics. But if you say it's not a 24' and your track record seems you are in the know with new models each year so I'll take your word on it. They should have just went with the 24' but if that is a 21' FSH it sure does appear a lot longer I guess since the boats profile is different than the rest of the Yami's.
