This is how life really is....which is scary AF right now lol. One of the best comments of that video was “Earlier this summer I got sunburnt because someone around me wasn’t wearing their sunscreen”. Lol that sums it up nicely just how asinine this whole mandate thing is.

Flu shot has been around for how long? Not really an apples to apples comparison IMO. Even then, you made the choice to go into a career that you knew they may force things like mandatory flu shots. Same as military In that sense. That is not the same as forcing that upon everyone or every company around the world.

Yeah, that's kinda my point. I made that choice to have this job. Shots go with the job. Honestly I've done a lot of thinking about this on my pillow. In your hospital setting, I think going into that field, shots would be an expectation. My wife who just manages a dental network from home, did not have that expectation. (Same for 1000s of companies with government contracts. Make microchips for weapons or planes... gotta get vaccinated!

Not only that but it goes far beyond employers and employees. See NYC for example. There’s also the horrible media pundits throwing in their 2 cents of virtue signaling...

Lets not forget the Judicial Branch. Hell even the post office is exempt. How ironic is it that the Judges that will decide if the mandate is constitutional don't have to abide by the very same law. There is a war going on against the working man in case you haven't noticed.

There are only 3 senators that aren't vaccinated.

Vaccinated people can carry the virus if infected, but are 6 times less likely to be infected. So the more vaccinated people we have, the more we quash this virus. So not getting vaccinated is just another indicator of the lack of caring people have for one another. And the bs conspiracy theories those same people latch onto to defend their selfish position is pathetic.

Thankfully we have a majority of intelligent and selfless people in the US that are helping reduce the virus! And Thankfully we have some of the best healthcare minds able to guide us through this. If only we could separate politics from healthcare. But unfortunately that will never happen so we are stuck with politicians just spouting bs that they think we WANT to hear vs the truth.

Lastly....people complaining about "so called science", and how it changes, Clearly failed HS science and missed the whole section on the "scientific method". The great thing about the scientific method is its willingness and encouragement to be challenged.

I've been at the hospital now since Wed and am very thankful for all these amazing staff! All vaccinated. All practicing containment measures ALL THE TIME. Its so easy....and not worth listening to and getting sucked into all the anti vax BS.

And thankfully the total number of unvaccinated declines every day.....which bodes well for a happier new year!

It is about money. I’ve worked with people packed in tight with hundreds of people nearly this whole damn time. For nearly 2+ years!

Please explain how the person next to you vaccine status has any bearing on your health. Don’t give me the line about hospitals being overrun either as we’ve seen that both with nearly 100% vaccinated countries and unvaccinated populations. There is no metric you can show that definitively makes sense.

I would love to read a scientific paper that argues, and statistically shows, that vaccines aren't reducing the spread of covid. I love to read challenges like this!

Remember if 95% population is vaccinated and you are only 7X less likely to be infected by vaccinating, You would still see a 2-1 ratio or greater of vaccinated new cases...You have just vaccinated so many, there are too few unvaccinated left to show up.

Unvaccinated: 736 cases for every 100,000 people.
Vaccinated people accounted for 121 cases for every 100,000 people.

Example...
1,000,000
95% vaccination 950,000 - 121 sick per 100K= = 1149 Sick
5% unvaccinated 50,000 - 736 sick per 100K = 368 sick

OMG, Look at all the sick people that got vaccinated. Horrible.. OR Look, if they had NOT vaccinated, we would have see 7360 Sick instead.
