I was under the impression that localized responses to pandemics was preferred over sweeping national approaches? NYC probably has the highest population density of anywhere in the US. Makes sense to me that they'd be the first place to react....no?

Not sure how you misinterpreted my comments. I said they were declaring a state of emergency. Which is true. I never said that lockdowns were a part of that declaration.

1. Why do you mention NYC? Do you have a relevant reference?

2. Are those letters referring to the Omicron variant which is of unknown significance and not yet detected in the US?

3. What do you mean by “RICHARD(s)”?

I mentioned NYC because it was a news flash type notification.
"Richard" is a throwback reference from Chris Farley's character in "Tommy Boy" .
The letters is a pejorative reference to many other thing s being classified with crazyness these days. Its sarcasm.

Ok from the World news tonight they had a senior South African MD on. She stated that "Omnicron" Covid in Africa has manifested itself in young adults, is highly contagious, but is nothing more than two to three days of feeling tired.

So that really is not a big deal.

Of course here we see the narrative side already hailing doom again. No they have no idea (factual data based) if the vax has any efficacy with the new variant.

That would take time. Lets see if they apply the same dogged line holding to what is anecdotal, and not study data based as they did with all non vax treatments etc. You know they wont. Dam hypocrites.


Here is another interesting factoid:

I personally know 5 women, all over the age of 35, otherwise healthy , all have had full 2 doses of either PFIZER or Moderna.
The vax has had time to settle in. All of them are now experiencing Cardiac side effects, carditis and the like. All are being treated with some drug I don't know. I'll find out.

One of the five is a girlfriend of mine. She used to be a regular at the gym. She cant anymore. Tiredness, shortness of breath, chest pain, faintness. They are still testing her but have positively identified her as having pericardial effusion. I 'm sure she will be treated as such. The above symptoms were concurrent with the vax. No history otherwise.
Interesting that it seems women are being the recipients of this. (At least in my circle of association). I dont know of one dude who has had any side effects.

I really hope this doesn't happen with my wife. We would be lining up the lawyers. Her family has known history of heart complications yet not a single one of her doctors were allowed to even consider an exemption.

The CDC is tracking Myocarditis and pericarditis as known side effects of the vaccine. Be sure your friends experiencing this have their info put into VAERS.

I am. I had 100 mcg Moderna doses for the first two. Initially I turned down a 50 mcg Moderna booster. A little later my risk increased and I chose to take a 30mcg Pfizer dose as a booster for a balance of being boosted and less adverse effects when I got an influenza vaccine. I had reacted badly to both Moderna doses. I had very little reaction to the combination of influenza vs Pfizer.

I ve had my flu shot. I'm guessing if one is1st rd vax and boosted, the booster 2 to the boosted will be 6-8 months later.
Or as I'm expecting the (boosters) will become like an annual flu shot.

Got a Moderna booster last week (no side effects at all). Had J&J first - so not the best - booster was recommended after 6 months....which I was.
