Toy making in progress...squirt gun to end all...(jet pump squirt gun)

@jetboater4life did you make any progress on your version?
I finally had a chance to try mine out and it was a no-go from the start. The jet nozzle was a little smaller than I remembered which made getting the plunger in there near impossible. I decided it wasn't worth breaking my jet nozzle linkage so I'm out the cost of a plunger.

This is awesome!

Soooooooooooooooo ..... when exactly is this gonna be offered As a "Group Buy" at a discounted price ???????

LOL .... nice pics and project, Julian ............... Sorry, I 'jes couldn't resist the above. LOL !
Mikey Lulejian - Who is SUPPOSED be cutting his Emerald Zoysia right now.

I think I might make one this week. But adapt it to fit a garden hose. I plan on making a water slide on one of the tall/steep beaches on the river by forming a shallow ditch down the beach to the water, lining it with plastic sheating and running the hose up to the top. Supercharged water slide!

Now I have a new boat....wondering if it will:
  1. Fit in the nozzles on the new boat
  2. If I can get the gate open on the boat to install it
  3. If I can rev the engine without opening the gate
If I can't....I guess I'll have to pass my toy on to someone else who could make good use of it....

Well thanks @Julian , I'll be right over to pick up your 242X.

Oh...the answer to my earlier question is....no...this didn't work on my new 242X as I couldn't 1) easily move the gate, 2) rev the engine in neutral....

So I turned it over to @Speedling and he is now the firechief! LOL

This weapon will be used wisely.
And mostly for ballast bag filling i bet!

I want this when @Speedling upgrades his boat :) this would make great for lake lanier.

@Wisefam22 you need to make this for the gathering.

I wish it worked on the newer boats because I want one for the Pirates of Lanier poker run. I finally found the thread and really disappointed it won't work.

Geez ... just read this thread. I am going back to Reddit now for crazy stuff created for viewing pleasure.

If the incentive guys on this forum were focused on world hunger ;-)

I've never played around with the manual gate controls on the E-Series....it might be simple to make this work on one....just takes some experimentation! If I ever get some time perhaps I'll build another and give it a shot....it is a fun squirt gun (might use a 1" ID hose next time!)
