I finally had a chance to try mine out and it was a no-go from the start. The jet nozzle was a little smaller than I remembered which made getting the plunger in there near impossible. I decided it wasn't worth breaking my jet nozzle linkage so I'm out the cost of a plunger.
Soooooooooooooooo ..... when exactly is this gonna be offered As a "Group Buy" at a discounted price ???????
LOL .... nice pics and project, Julian ............... Sorry, I 'jes couldn't resist the above. LOL !
Mikey Lulejian - Who is SUPPOSED be cutting his Emerald Zoysia right now.
I think I might make one this week. But adapt it to fit a garden hose. I plan on making a water slide on one of the tall/steep beaches on the river by forming a shallow ditch down the beach to the water, lining it with plastic sheating and running the hose up to the top. Supercharged water slide!
Oh...the answer to my earlier question is....no...this didn't work on my new 242X as I couldn't 1) easily move the gate, 2) rev the engine in neutral....
So I turned it over to @Speedling and he is now the firechief! LOL
@Wisefam22 you need to make this for the gathering.
I wish it worked on the newer boats because I want one for the Pirates of Lanier poker run. I finally found the thread and really disappointed it won't work.
I've never played around with the manual gate controls on the E-Series....it might be simple to make this work on one....just takes some experimentation! If I ever get some time perhaps I'll build another and give it a shot....it is a fun squirt gun (might use a 1" ID hose next time!)
