New guy here. Owns Scarab 165 (non Turbo) looking to upgrade to Yamaha AR195 soon 
anyone make a similar jump? Curious at the low speed manuverability Yamah vs Rotax engine. Love the 165 but want something a bit bigger (and faster)

Welcome aboard. . . . . . . My only advice is getting the biggest boat you can reasonably afford as it will save you money in the long run. Otherwise you will be upgrading again real soon.

Welp, I just found out you cannot even buy or register the AR195 in California!! Emissions on the Supercharger. Really bummed. Wanted 19ft as it fits in my garage. Maybe I'll just keep my 165 for now
