Yes, the wake editions have surfpointe which is why they do not have swim up seats as the two are incompatible.
If you want one, they now offer one.
That is for the models with Drive control.
Thanks for answering my question. I didn't see it covered in the review video, and the info release you posted mentions 255xd/xe as having surfpoint. Appreciate. all the great coverage on the new boats!
The age old debate about a 2nd captains seat or not. We like 2 captains seats....others prefer the bench.
Also keep in mind those captains seats rotate and recline so you can make a big U if you want
Just wanted to see if you could elaborate on the above. As in “they had a porta pottie”, is that they had one stored, or they had it set up as a head?

I agree. Not all of us are trying to put 10 people in a 21'-22' boat. For a couple, and maybe a couple of guests, I would much prefer the dual captains chairs and so would my wife.
When I look at the pics on the Yamaha website, however, it sure looks like a bench seat on the port side:

That’d be nice. We like the option of the bench or upright on ours.
