27' new Yamaha model 275 jet boat to be unveil Thursday at the Miami Boat Show

Wonder if you can add radar on that hard top and integrate it to the Connext screen? Also, stock cock pit vinyl would be a nice addition for a boat that size! Can't wait to see the interior! Those extensions on the rear sure do look strange! Cup holders? Arm rests.....

@Bruce I hope that is what the bow looks like....meaning....WINDLASS BABY! The lines....perhaps they'll grow on me!

That's exactly what I thought at first, but I couldn't remember which boat it was. I never liked the way those looked.

Took the words out of my mouth! I'm glad some like it but man it does nothing for me in styling!

Radar should be an easy addition.

Interfacing radar with Connext is unlikely.

I wonder if the 275's controls are sufficiently electrified to provide the paddle controls to allow auto pilot. I suspect that the steering remains manual.

It says largest and widest in the industry. If it is 9ft wide like talked about earlier in this thread, I don't think it will be street legal to tow without wide load permits, and I doubt it would come with a trailer. That would be a whole new market for Yamaha jetboats.
Oh god, I hope not! That would be a total deal-breaker for me. If it is more than the standard 8'6" beam and heavier than about 7,000-8,000lbs on a trailer - it is a different class.

The windshield to the side arches if just plain fugly, sorry.
And you tall people better watch out getting into the boat without whacking your head on that hard top. Look how close it is to the women who is being helped into the boat.

And they say "fuel efficient " lol
The SVHO is far from that. And in a large heavy boat. No way lol

I agree. Can’t wait to see specs and price. For me, 27’ bow rider comparison Sea Ray 270SDX @ $107k.

I found these shots in the PDF. What’s interesting is 3 pissers on port side. Why 3 and seems like should be on starboard. Solar on front of hardtop? Lounges look nice with flip seats.

Looks like it’s in the water in Miami....Vid of the 275
That was mean. 30 seconds of my life I will never get back. I'm sure it will seem funny later, but I'm too sad to see how funny it was! (only half kidding...)

SVHO engines usually have pissers for the intercooler as well as oil cooler. My SVHO ski has 2 out the starboard side and one out the port.

I see now from that pic the top is cut out and there is a walk through.

The jet wash is spread out a lot more also

Makes sense. Just noticed, no hatch for cleanout ports?

Maybe under the cushion? the swim platform looks different, and in my mind the pump access ends up where the cushions are in the picture.

Can’t wait to see how they designed it.

If the clean outs and thus jets are further forward (relative to the other models) but the swim platform still extends back pretty far (similar to a bolt on platform, just fiberglassed on), it would provide extra length and space but without adding as much wetted surface and drag.

I found a used 2015 270 sdx the other day for $63k I have been debating hard whether it is time to upgrade.

SVHO engine has 3 pissers. I think the reason why you see 3 on the port side is possibly because of the massive walk thru and overall wider boat (if 9' true). The engines are tucked beneath those lounges. Look close and you can see the engine hatch drainage tracks and the fire port. I also see the lift latch so I guess the engine hatch'lounge tilt toward the bow? They're fairly far apart compared to current boats so makes sense to run pissers out each side. I bet there's another 3 pissers on the starboard side for the other SVHO engine.

Ooooffff, no one loves Yamaha more than me but I’m not so sure about this one. Looks like this baby swings open too. I’m sure for a pooper.

Hopefully once everything is announced my ‘tude will change.

You can also see those lounge seat backs are dual position.
