2018 Bimini June trip (June 24th - June 30th)

The biggest problem with a beach bonfire is the lack of wood. Last year the home owners association hosted a bonfire for our group. They used pallets for the fuel. So it can happen. I suspect that a bonfire would be more fun during cooler parts of the year.
I would have thought there would be an overabundance of wood from the pavilion that was torn down

Wow, was customs not at Bimini Sands?

We had emailed agreement for both customs and immigration to be there.

Eric.. U can borrow our washer too... We are right down the from u.. .

Also is there some kind of bimini charity we could donate the money to? The 5 bucks I donated won't break me! I hope.

One idea i floated by @andys was donating it to @Bruce in support of forum costs if folks wanted. Total collected was $195

It is so hard to identify legitimate charities over there.

No customs or imigration. I asked at big game umigration and he said ALL agents were working that day. Noone had the day off

Our condo 7E is in great shape. Everything works. Only issue is low water pressure-but that is an Island thing! We have a propane grill on the balcony with 2 tanks of propane! Fridge, microwave, range and even a dishwasher (but didnt bring dw soap to put in one). We should start a spreadsheet on which units are good! Ours is nicely decorated with good furniture, TV cable and decent internet. Haven't used the washer and dryer, but the cleaning people were using it when we arrived....so assume it works.

I went to the airport for Customs/immigration, was in and out in under 10 minutes. You do have to know what to do when you get there. You enter the door to the left and enter a waiting area and to the left are opaque glass doors that say "do no enter". You go through those doors and you are at immigration (or customs...didn't pay attention to which was which). You clear and pay there, then go into the next section for the next step. Pretty easy and I learned this last year....

Great idea with the tracking spreadsheet!

Anyone know what kind of shape 14E is in??

You need to check your reservation @JROD I believe all of building 14 is down due to ac issues
The people who were originally booked in that building for this trip were moved to other buildings

My understanding is that building 14 is getting new steps and everyone in June was moved out of that building.

Yesterday I checked with Rentals at Bimini Sands and was told that there would not be any moves for our June group. However if the stairs are not completed or who knows what else changes .....

So the owner of my unit just showed up. He said he will solve all of your issues so we’ll see. Even left a couple of bottles of booze

I know I’m probably being a little extra about this but speaking with the guys at the fuel dock... they don’t know when they are getting fuel
At first it was said it was tomorrow or Friday then he drove back over and said they don’t actually know when.....

Nothing wrong here.
