So, tell me more about this tower wrapping idea. Are the bugs really that bad in Florida? Is this common practice? Am I going to be highly disappointed the entire week in Bimini if I don’t?

Our state bird is a Mosquito. Depending on what route you're taking, if you cross Through the leads it'll take a week to get the bugs off your vehicle.

Do you soak it first, or remove those dry with a dry dryer sheet?

Wet the dryer sheets first
We have those wonderful love bugs twice a year, they literally eat the paint off your car if you don’t clean them off
I try and get two good coats of wax on in April and September, the wax makes it easier to wash them off

I'm leaving Thursday night unless they call for crap weather then I shifting my whole vacation to the July trip lol. Close enough now I'm watching the weather daily though it means absolutely nothing at this point and pretty much changes every few hours. Did see the below earlier though.

Yeah the windfinder forecast for Sunday is not ideal but doable, maybe the Sunday crew will want to leave early Friday. But as we know forecasts change as the time gets closer.

The forecast on the US side seems to be getting better during the day on Sunday the 24th. Hopefully this leads to a better forecast for Monday.

Although the forecast for the Bimini side appears to be a little worse than the US side.
