25 Footers Are Leaving The Factory!

Just got a call from dealer. My 252SD is in. Sea trial this Friday.
Nice to see the SDs are starting to roll out, we’re waiting for our SD too! What color did you pick?

Wife wanted the Blue- I was not too sure about the tan/brown interior. Interior Looks real nice in person. Will post pictures after Bimini and mats are installed.

Nice! I really wanted the blue but couldn’t get over the brown interior so went with the black. It’s gonna be a pain to keep clean lol. Would love to see actual photos of the blue, so please post :)

Sure, here are some pics. First two pics show that the hook and bracket are directly in line with each other. Third pic shows that from the hook to the nearest edge of the bracket assembly is about 11 inches. Fourth pic shows that from the center of the bracket to the nearest edge of the ladder is about 18 inches.

Looks like from that pic your 252SE still has the plastic drain plug like the old 240s? I saw pics of the 21 AR195 with metal plugs, and the 25 FSH models have metal as well... safe to assume that the FSH the only 25 model to get the metal plugs if the 252SE has plastic? say it ain't so!

Yup, she's got the ol' seven cent plastic drain plug!

When i saw the pics if my boat and it had the brown interior i was kinda disappointed but in person it looks so much better and i think i like it now better than the grey with my dark red hull

My 252se just showed up in Charlotte. Picking it up this weekend!

I still want to hear the story from the designers of who mis-measured the tower base dimensions and ended up with that hang over part!

And hopefully they attached the stern tie downs before you towed her home! :winkingthumbsup"

Here are some pictures of our Blue 252SE. We really like the blue exterior. We also like the “brown” interior because it is paired with an off white material rather than the white that the gray is with.

Its a nice looking boat.

Great looking boat!
We have a 255 on order in blue trim. Website only has the single profile pic. If anyone sees a blue 255, please post!

Very nice, thanks for sharing the pics!

The brown is nice, much richer looking and not as stark. See it though now I'm glad we went with the grey interior. We are in S.FL and the white/grey seems to work more with the marine environment down here, IMO. I'll have to get some throw pillows with color to brighten up the grey interior.

I think Yamaha really failed with the “warm” brown interior, the use of all the browns give it such a dated feel.

I agree, I couldn’t get over the tan trim. It looks like baby poo. I do like the teak deck color and the dark brown.

My new 252S has the plastic plug as well:confused:

I have to respectfully disagree...in person, it looks really good. I had it out 2 days a couple weeks ago, and cannot tell you how many people actually stopped in their tracks to look at the boat docked alongside the restaurants. Received A LOT of compliments.

Man I totally agree. That poor integration on the tower and the misfit cutouts on the side windows is killing the momentum for me on the 250s. I was saying in another thread that it has to be the result of an engineering audible on some COVID parts related issue. More than likely we’ve identified the early release delays on the 250s. The original towers and windshields couldn't make deadlines.
