275SD - Garmin ECHOMAP 9" UHD2 94sv with GT56 Transducer Install

I want to do this. Don’t know if I have the guts. I’m a big DIY guy, but I just bought my 2024 255xe and while I want a fish finder for my kid, not sure I can bear to drill any holes in my toy. Anyone post a video of any of these steps? Any thought on what a “professional” might charge for this?
After you drill the first hole the rest will come easy! My install is linked in my 242X link in my signature. (If you don't see my signature, turn your phone on its side.)

These installs aren't hard, but are time consuming.

That is so true... you start cutting and all the apprehension just goes away. I am already facing making one hole bigger for my Garmin 115 VHF... at this point it's just a little more hole...

And just an update, I went with the EchoMap 7sv and the Garmin 115 VHF due to previous posts and knowing what space I had to deal with. I didnt have the opportunity to go see in person so I just pulled the trigger over the phone with West Marine in the interest of getting it here in time for the weekend. I'll post another update for the 230 folks, if there are any left...
