Help me please

There is a master fuse close to the battery usually on the wall, but your other motor wouldn't start if it was bad.

If it's the same as my '09 then each engine has a 20 amp automotive style mini-fuse under the round screw-off cover at the rear of the engine compartment. If that's blown, then I don't believe the engine will crank.

I guess I didn't realize there are two separate fuses. I am hoping that is the culprit...

Yeah, the fuse in the ECU compartment isn't something that I thought of or have even heard of giving an issue in starting. Maybe that is it. But you mentioned lights not working and that isn't that fuse, that will be the ACC fuse and if you look in the battery compartment, you will see this fuse on the wall there. It is the ACC fuse for all your ACC items and I think maybe the lights as well. But check the diagram in the information I sent, and see if the ECU compartment fuses affect starter circuitry, that is a good lead! If so, we all learn a little something here. Here is the ACC fuse I was referring to...it is circled. You don't have the switch, the ACR, the additional busses, or the extra wiring...so look past that, it is just that flat housing either up on the wiring or on the wall there in the compartment, and it contains a blade fuse.

You said you left the ignition on....so my bet is the ECU fuse under the round cap on the back wall of the engine compartment. There is a spare in there too.

X2 to what Julian suggested. I think your issue is probably more of an ECU issue due to leaving the ignition on.

Also, to rule out the lanyard switch you could disconnect both plugs and swap them. It's one plunger that activates two circuits. So swapping the connections would switch the problem to the other engine if it's the culprit.

Finally, make sure all battery cables (positive & negative) & starter connections look secure.

Follow the wires from that gauge back to the engine compartment. Disconnect and reconnect every connector. Sounds more like a poor connection than anything. Maybe something in one of the compartments shifted and put weight on the harness while trailering.

Since one engine starts it can't be the connections at the battery - as they share a connection - could be the connection at the starter, or the starter itself.

I wonder if it is a voltage problem? Do both engines have stators? My depth finder power is connected to the port ignition switch.

I betting battery. It's charging now. I left the battery switch off today and when I tried to start it, it is clicking now at the ecu and it didn't do that yesterday

Kinda sounds like low voltage. But no lights, no click, no nothing doesn't sound like that, when the other engine starts fine.

The motor that starts has a new starter bc last time the battery was bad I thought it was the starter and replaced it just to find out the battery was bad. So that motor turns over faster

Do you have the old starter that you replaced?

Still no luck. Battery fully charged. No go or lights. So sad. I'm glad i put 50 gallons of gas in it and pulled it all this way to be a raft

Found out lanyard will let the motor turn over but not start. The hatch and neutral switch won't let the boat do anything. With the lights not working and the motor. It's gotta be a short somewhere. I'm going to the marina tomorrow to see if anybody can work on it. Thanks for all your help. I will keep you posted

It still sounds suspect to me, that one engine starts and you have no lights, no click, no gauge on the other. That is a switch blocking it I think. Have you guys had someone stand on the clean out hatch and tried? Your going to kick yourself when you find the source. It is going to be something we have mentioned that hasn't been eliminated completely. And I feel for ya on vacation with the boat and can't get one running.

I switched the clean out hatch switches and had someone hold them down. I of get all the lights on the tach to light up for sec and the tach moves at the same time. The safety switches don't allow anything to happen which tells me they are fine

I don't think so @Marvin willis if they were fine, why do they do something they weren't doing when someone stands on the hatch? Sounds like hatch switches are a player in this to me, but maybe I am misunderstanding what your saying.

Wonder if the wires are long enough to swap the ECUs. If the fuse isn't blown, I'm wondering if something else in the ECU is?

So after wiggling the lanyard clip you can now get it to turn over but not start? Too much of a coincidence.....
