Movie Reviews - What's your thought about what you've seen?

“I Feel Pretty” ... if you have enough machismo to sit/walk into the theater. Actually a decent movie and not 100% chick-flick. Take one for the team (the women in your life) and build up your guy movie IOU stock-pile.

Got my ticket already for Deadpool 2 this Saturday! Can't wait!

One of my favorite lines from 1st
"deadpool do you have an off button"
"yeah, it's right next to the prostrate"......."or is that the oooonnn button"??

I'm headed to see it tomorrow night at 10PM. If it's half as funny as the first, it will be worth it.

Deadpool 2 is definitely worth a watch. Lots of great one liners and potty humor sarcasm just like the first. Should be a no brainer, but it's obviously not kid friendly.

Allow me to scar your childhood memories

“Hey handsome, looking for some rotten cotton?” LOL.

Definitely not safe for work (NSFW) or children, I will have to see it alone. Is that perverse?

It's funny how some people get so offended by films that aren't gloden globe winners. Movies are a 2 hour escape from reality. 2 hours of robot aliens that turn into cars and blow stuff up is entertaining for some us, and we don't care if the plot sucks.

Yup....but the same movie with a little or decent plot makes it even more entertaining!

I saw "Starship Troopers" in a movie theater with my wife.....the teens around us weren't happy when we were laughing at the terrible lines or acting...but like you said it was entertaining!!!!

Saw Deadpool last night. I was a little let down to be honest. I think I built it up to much in my mind. I still think Deadpool 1 was better. 2 was okay, a little slow at times, and it seemed like the one liners were forced. Not as original as first one. I think it's worth a watch, but don't go into it thinking it's going to be better than the 1st.

I laughed just as much if not more watching Blockers but I’ve got a high school kid at home so I can relate better.

God that movie is horrible. And I watch it every single time I see it on TV lol. It is one of those movies that is meant to be bad/cheesy.

I’ve loved that movie since I saw it in the theatres in the late 90s. My wife, girl friend at the time, has always hated it. She still bought me the set of 3 (?) dvds. Number 2 was so bad, other than the hot naked woman from the show nip tuck that I haven’t seen 3. Lesson learned if it’s a straight to dvd movie don’t bother.

Fiance has been wanting to see Pitch Perfect 3 for a while so had a night in on Friday and picked that up at RedBox. Not a bad movie - if you have seen the first two it ends the saga well, even though the movie goes a bit out in left field for the story line.

Just saw Solo. This movie might have been the nail in the coffin for me on future Star Wars movies. I give it a 'D' at best. Bad acting, bad casting, the guy they got for Solo was not a good Solo, the whole thing was dumb. If you must see it, I'd wait for DVD.

I thought it was a good at showing how Han Solo became Han Solo but the critics are panning it big time. Well, I still enjoyed it and I'm sure any of my friends that are still into Star Wars are going to go see it while its in theaters. I may see it again on my Movie Pass otherwise I can wait until its released to On Demand.

I will try to catch it if it goes on Netflix. I loved Star Wars as a kid, but don't really care much these days. Saw the one about them stealing the Death Star blue prints and thought that was good. Haven't seen any of the other new ones. If it has good visuals/sound and some decent action - I am generally entertained lol.

I recently saw oceans 8, Jurassic world and antman. I enjoyed them all, could have waited for Jurassic on video/online and rank ant man over oceans.

TODAY IS A GLORIOUS DAY !!!

Just saw Mission impossible fallout, longer than I expected but kept me on the edge of my seat for most of the movie. Lots of plot and characters to follow but overall a very good movie, maybe the best mission impossible movie yet.

On a side note my and my families movie passes didn’t work at all last night. Fallout is already unavailable as a current blockbuster (per movie passes new policy) but when we tried to use the app last night it stated that there were no available movie screenings at my local theatre which had 25 screens and plays everything from independent movies to blockbusters. Oh well, I New it would not last forever and think that I got my $90 for a years subscription out of it. Members who signed up for a month to month plan are worse off as more restrictions apply to them than theirs who bought in early and for an entire year.

“Only the Brave”, based on the true story of the first 20 Granite Mountain Hotshot firefighters of Prescott Arizona.

Spoiler Alert:
Only one survived the Yarnell Hill fire of 2013. It’s a very moving story and sobering reminder of the the huge sacrifices that few among us make to keep the rest of us safe, especially at this time when there are record breaking wildfires raging throughout the state of California.

The site of the fatalities is now a memorial park 35 miles from Prescott Arizona. Unfortunately Most people, myself included, will never be able to visit it since doing so requires a 3.5 mile hike through rough and hilly terrain. That is, most people are just not in the physical condition required to make the hike there or back, just once. The hotshots were only 1/3rd of a mile from safety when they deployed their emergency shelters.
