One picture of your last outing.

Morning cruise yesterday on Allatoona, tied up in a favorite haunt near the dam.
Shallow sandbar area, steep drop off towards the bow, stern side of sand bar is gradual rise. Great spot to wade, swim, and watch the boat traffic in the main channel. The dam is a ways from our marina and it gets very busy in that part of the lake so we don't go up there often but it is a treat to cruise to the Park Marine/Red Top area on a calm morning.

lol no kidding! The back story behind the snake was all of the guys were out in Bill's boat while he was out surfing. The wives hung back swimming in the cove with the two other boats. One says to the other she think she saw a snake swim between the boats! They said they jumped out so fast and the snake was trying to hang out in the pump and kept lifting its head at them. Appears to be a cottonmouth/water moccasin.

If there are two things I hate on this earth it's snakes and spiders! We were in a little cove that tapered in narrow with grass and woods close on both sides. Prime snake territory if you ask me haha. I didn't have a great feeling hanging out there vs the first cove we were at for the day. Glad she spotted it as those snakes can be pretty aggressive.

I did! The water causes a wind that tends to push you back so as you increase throttle, you can easily get to far into it and start filling the boa! It's cold too! Great place to hang out and party though.

Cap'n @Emma at the helm!
