Went for a walk in Port Washington today which is on Lake Michigan north of Milwaukee.

There was one boat in the water in the inner marina with a cover on it which is very odd. There appears to be people living on it.

Not me, no chimney, wood shed or chainsaw in sight, lol. Surprised by the lack of ice. A condensation nightmare...
Lake thawed quick last couple weeks. Hope to salmon fish next saturday and grab some salmon!

Not me, no chimney, wood shed or chainsaw in sight, lol. Needs one of these Stainless Solid Fuel Heater | West Marine Surprised by the lack of ice. A condensation nightmare...And the water level looks low as compared to the dock finger above the rub rail.

We were surprised that there wasn’t at least some ice in the harbor but none to be seen. When we walked past the side of the boat there was a woman inside and there was an access point in the cover so there are definitely people working/living on it. Looks like they strung a bunch of outdoor lights on the inside of the cover - it must be lit up like an Xmas tree at night.

Working on the trailer today and figuring out what else I need as I go. New trailer plug, clean up the wiring and a couple more bunk brackets. Going to wait on the brackets to see exactly the size I need to get. I’ve got the bunks as close to the MFI trailers as I can.

Parking the trailer like a BMW owner :D

You ever take your boat there? We LOVE ❤️ boating out of Port.

We’ve seen your posts and photos but we have not launched from Port - looks great!! We have been talking about spending the weekend there this summer and renting a slip for a couple days.

N+1 Building up another bike. This is a mountain bike frame I had for while, turning into a gravel bike. Between the boat mods and bikes, my winter free time has kept me busy.

We’re in Lake Tahoe this week and are staying at the base of Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe. Weather forecast showed only two sunny days (Mon and Tues) before a storm rolls in on Wed/Thur.

Got in early enough to ride Heavenly Monday afternoon which ended up being a good decision. The temps were up in the 50’s and the snow was soft and tracked out but there was some sun:

Full-on blue bird day at Northstar yesterday. Surface was perfect the first part of the morning and then started to soften right before lunch time:

Northstar Village is on the small side but it’s really nice:
