Most people walk or boat over to Splash, a bar and grille we dinghy to on occasion. But this guy flew in and tied up.

That’s one way to get around. That guy is on another “level”

I had a date yesterday .. 20+mph winds and we drove a total of 40 miles. We went to a ocean side restaurant called Salt Shack. We docked on the bay side, walked over to the restaurant, saw a live band, ate tacos, and walked to the beach. Then we departed to the fire island lighthouse. This was a sketchy because there was 2ft swells in the large bay. It was impossible to dock at the restaurant without the dock scratching the shit out of my boat. So I put 2 anchors in 2ft swells and left the boat for a few hours. We had missed the lighthouse museum which closed 30 minutes prior so we walked around the park and then the small beach town, and ate again at Kismet Inn. As night fell, the winds died down and we had a comfortable drive back. We caught the sunset with this cute dog. The night sky was so clear that we could see manhattan. Beautiful day and I can't wait for real Summer temperatures!

Sounds like a pretty cool date bru!

Trying something different for hanging fenders. Nylon strapping with plastic quick clips. Easy to hang, adjust to different situations and remove. So far so good with launching today. We’ll see how they work the rest of the season.

I’d like to report that these clips are working great!!! Easy to adjust if needed and the kids can put the fenders out now. No need to tie anything and worry if it comes undone.

Love it when this 40yo baler ties good knots and throws good bales.

I finally repainted this bridge, i replaced most of the deck boards so i waited till they dried out a bit. Now that i have grass growing good on the far side behind it after reshaping the creek bank. It was time to get the bridge looking good

Bushwacking new trails in the field for the neighborhood. Spent about 90min mowing. Between the 4 of us we got about 2 miles of trails cut!

Grabbed this shot while playing a round at Persimmon Ridge on Friday. I suck at golf, but driving the cart and drinking with buddies is totally worth the time invested.
