$2200 later, ouch! Was cleaning off the wheels and heard some bubbling. One of the valve stems was leaking. I live about 25mins without Friday traffic from the tire shop. Said fuck it, let's get this taken care of before the holiday weekend. They replaced it in a few minutes and I was back on my way. These are some really really nice tires for a trailer. The guy that installed the tires said they were absolutely toast. I didn't think they were that bad, but figured I had pressed my luck long enough with those tires. Glad I didn't have some of the issues others had.View attachment 207688View attachment 207689View attachment 207690View attachment 207691
Started the next project in the shop, putting up plywood on the walls. Only going 8 feet up. Have to get this wall done so i can order the compressor, tire machine and balancer. I dont want to move the machines on the new floor to put up the wall.
You did a 500 mile trip. I have 500 miles total since getting the boat new in November 2021. I mostly travel 10 miles one way, sometime do a 50 mile but not often. I’m going to reach out to the manufacturer tomorrow, see if they have a known issue. Looks like there is a site about 20 miles from my house. Hopefully they can make it right.

I cleaned them before I put them back on inside and out. I normally do that a couple times a season. I'm super particular about my stuff being clean so they're never dirty anyways.
I think I have that same brand tire on mine. Been to Florida and back in '21, going again in October. Probably have 8-9k miles on them now. Be over 10k by the time I get them in storage this year.
Day 1 of my oldest having to dress out for JROTC every Tuesday at school.
Please note we are Polish and not Japanese lol. The older kids took several years of Aki Jujutsu in grade school, hence the closet door cover. Glad to see she is doing something. As I have the Polish Eagle tattooed on my neck, I was unable to join the Navy post high school as it showed over uniform, and my grandfather was on the USS New Jersey in Korea and CG Auxiliary after he gained his captains license and master license for being a charter captain on Lake Erie. Glad to see the water is staying in the family.
I get that the tires are set at 50 psi, but that pic is text book under inflation, is 50 psi max cold inflation pressure?
If the tires are not the issue then there could be an issue with the axles, it looks like the majority of the wear is on the outside edge? Is that the same on both?

Outside edge and inside edge on both tires, single axle. I am no trailer expert, can you adjust toe and heal on a trailer like a car? I have towed trailers for hundreds of thousands of miles and never seen wear like this. Almost seams like they are delaminating.

A good alignment place can align trailer axles but it takes a porta power hydraulic Ram and a chain, I had to have my toy hauler axles done, they were AFU, toe and camber were bad, one axle the tire were toed out the other they were toed in and each wheel had a different camber…ridiculous.
Again those tires exhibit classic under inflation, they’re cheap ass hecho en chino ST tires more than likely, I had some many dramas with those damn tires, of several brands..they were all may pops, once I out on a set of Michelin XPS Rib tires I had zero problems. My suggestion would be to get a set of Goodyear Endurance tires and go from there. My oem shorlndr trailer tires were good for a short time then all of them became out of round, I put the GY’s on and have zero regrets.
